Video’s and Photographs


If you wish to have someone video your marriage ceremony, will you please let the registrar know when finalising your arrangements.

videoWe can only have one video camera and it should be hand held with self contained power and no additional lights.

The registrar and where applicable, the event co-ordinator, will advise the videographer of the best position to record the ceremony from.


Your guests are most welcome to take photographs before and after the ceremony but please advise them not to use their cameras during the marriage ceremony.

At Stirling registration office, after the ceremony you have 10 – 15 minutes of photography time.

Staff at all offices will be able to suggest local scenic locations for photography if you are unfamiliar with the area.
