Stirling Castle
Without a doubt, Stirling Castle is one of Scotland’s grandest buildings, towering over the surrounding countryside in the heart of Braveheart country.
The Castle’s Chapel Royal offers a spectacular area for your wedding ceremony, wedding reception or pre-dinner drinks for those dining in the Great Hall. It has a large stage, ideal for a dance floor or entertainment.
The Chapel Royal is entered through an imposing doorway within a triumphal arch surround and the interior is decorated with a painted frieze, dating to 1628. It has a capacity of 200 and can only be used for religious ceremonies.
The beautifully restored 16th-century Great Hall is considered to be one of Scotland’s most prestigious banqueting venues and provides an unforgettable setting for a truly memorable wedding reception.
The raised dais area is perfect for a top table or dancing. With a Minstrel’s Gallery and Trumpeter’s Loft, the Great Hall is an ideal venue for great celebrations. It has a capacity of 300.
Situated close to the entrance of the castle, the Queen Anne Garden lends itself particularly to pre-dinner drinks and wedding photography.
